About Me
Katy Tye (she/her) is an actor, director, teaching-artist, and choreographer. She is a certified actor combatant and a proud member of the Society of American Fight Directors. Katy co-founded Prism Movement Theater where she devised and choreographed numerous works, including Galatea for which she received a DFW Critics Forum Awards. Katy has adapted many stories for the stage such as the Greek myths of Persephone and Midas as well as King Lear and Treasure Island (Dallas Children's Theater). She has been fortunate enough to provide motion capture for Gearbox Studios (Borderlands 3). Katy is currently completing her MFA in Acting in Detroit.
